Meet Our Team

Ashley Rabon

I am a third-generation agent, and I began my career in 1990 as a multiple line insurance agent. It’s an honor to follow in my father and grandfather’s footsteps, who started Rabon Insurance Agency in 1954.

I grew up in Monroe, where I attended Walter Bickett Elementary, Monroe Middle School, and Monroe High School. I attended Appalachian State University (Go Apps!)

Hanging out with my family is my true joy but hanging out by the pool, on the lake or at the beach with my family is what makes me a happy man! I have been known to sing a little when the motivation hits me.

I love helping people at home or abroad in missions and find joy assisting organizations to impact the lives of others. I love my community and want to do my part to make it a better place. I love getting involved on a local level with organizations like the Union County Community Shelter or Wake the World, but my true passion is working to bring clean water to communities in need, in countries like Haiti and around Central American, through Living Water International.

Ann Watts

I have 30 years of experience in the insurance industry and with Rabon Insurance. I was born and raised in Pageland, SC. The best part of my job is working with people. Finding out their needs and finding the right coverage to fit their needs is fulfilling to me.

I love to workout at the gym with friends. They help motivate me to be healthy. I also love to sing at church and work with the youth.
When I’m not at work, I am usually with family or at the gym. I love to go hiking! I also enjoy reading.

Chris Baker

I have experience ensuring and servicing businesses and farms in and around Union County. I love the fact that I can help people get through the worst of times.

I grew up in Union County, NC. I love history and science. I am really into the local history of Union County, NC.

I like to do woodwork in my spare time, as well as any outdoor work. I play and collect antique harmonicas.

Traquita Little

I enjoy the insurance industry because I love helping people!
When I’m not working, I love spending time with my 2 year old son.
Before my mom passed she started a non-profit organization named HOLLA! Which stands for Helping Our Loved ones Learn and Achieve! I enjoy helping out with HOLLA!

Jim Rabon

I am a second-generation agent. It’s been an honor to follow in my father’s footsteps, who started Rabon Insurance Agency in 1954. Now, its a joy to pass the honor to my son. I still come by the office from time to time, because I love our team and our customers.

Dorothy Davenport

My experience in the insurance industry began in 2001, mostly with personal lines. I was born and raised in Daytona Beach Florida, like catfish.  I acquired two associates degrees, one in general education  and the other in finance.

What I like about my work place is that I’m learning a little bit of everything. I appreciate the opportunity to grow in multiple areas. I love the customer service side of what I do and the unity among my coworkers!

I’m a avid church goer, who loves to paint, write novels, watch black and white movies, and be with my family. My guilty pleasure is that I write romance novels.

When it comes to giving back to the community, I try to do what I can, when I can.

Nikki Damon

I have worked in the insurance industry since 2016 and love what I do. The best part about my job is being able to talk to people on a daily basis and help them secure their peace of mind. I love working with people and providing the best customer service I possibly can offer!
I grew up in King, North Carolina and graduated from Western Carolina University with a BS degree. I know this community and its people well, so I am honored to help my fellow neighbors with their insurance needs. When I am not working, you can certainly find me with my kiddos! Family is something that has always been important to me–I love spending time with my precious children, they are my life! I also am active in my local church: the Forest Hill Church in Waxhaw, NC.
